Not Ashamed

It was a rescue mission.

With each passing moment of my life, I knew I was moving closer and closer to my ultimate appointment with the grave. After all, how could I escape? How can any of us?

But when all seemed lost, I was whisked away to an eternity of safety by a supernatural power beyond my understanding.

Of course I'm grateful. But I'm also curious. "How did this happen? What is really going on here?"
