Do you know this quote? It's sort of silly and profound at the same time, isn't it? I really like it. And I think I get it. I think I know what the main thing is—at least for me. Do you know what your main thing is?
I don't know you, but I'm going to guess your main thing is NOT something like the big meeting at work next week or the fancy car I own.
I'm guessing your main thing is more along the lines of my family, living a successful life, or helping others. Something like that. And if I'm guessing close to what your main thing is, I want you to know I really respect you for your main thing.
Would you like to know my main thing? It's TRUTH. Not just no lying, but also the idea of an accurate picture of reality. The BIG TRUTH, if you will. My main thing is to know the truth and to speak the truth to others. So there you have it.
