Readers, in my ongoing quest to discover reality's DEEP TRUTHS, I sometimes observe interesting phenomena which I can't fully explain.
Interesting example #1: Round foods tend to be delicious foods. In the sweet category, for example, consider cakes, most pies (not necessarily cobblers, mind you), and bowls of ice cream. Meanwhile in the savory category, you have your hamburger/cheeseburger families, various pizzas, and most (not all) breaded chicken patties. It's also intriguing to note that many round foods (i.e., cakes, pies, pizzas) are sectioned into wedges before consumption.
Interesting example #2: What I call the Romans 7:15 Phenomenon. In this Bible verse, the Apostle Paul says "I do not understand what I do. For what I want to do I do not do, but what I hate I do." This is SO TRUE, right? For example, I want to hang out in my pajamas all day, stream movies/play games on the PlayStation, and eat bowl after bowl of ice cream. But what I actually do is get dressed, go to work, and eat a bunch of healthy stuff—which I despise! (In an act of defiance, though, I will frequently eat healthy stuff out of bowls.)
Interesting example #3: They tend to come in threes. "They" can be virtually anything. RANDOM:
Neapolitan ice cream flavors: strawberry, chocolate, and vanilla.
Semi-fluid hamburger condiments: mayonnaise, mustard, and ketchup. (What? Special sauce? I don't think so, friend.)
Horse races I'm aware exist: Kentucky Derby, Preakness, and Belmont Stakes.

Consubstantial* Persons of the Godhead: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
Interesting example #4: Nope. I've got nothing. Oh well, I'm going to help myself to a bowl of ice cream.
* A fancy theological word that literally means "from the same substance."
