Money Cannot Buy A Time Machine

I have been writing about money lately. I must remember money is not the Main Thing.

Although it isn't the Main Thing, money is a thing one can use to buy other things. Like shares of Apple stock.

But one can't use money to buy a time machine.

"Why not, Will?" one might inquire of me. "Why can't I use money to buy a time machine?"

Well unfortunately, it turns out time machines don't actually exist. Which is a real shame, because if they did exist, one could use them to make gobs and gobs and gobs of money.

Vending machines exist and one can use money to buy a vending machine.

So far, so good, but a single vending machine cannot be used to make gobs and gobs and gobs of money.

No it can't.

No, I don't think so.

No, not even if it vends high-profit-margin energy drinks.

Okay, maybe one half of one gob. If one is very fortunate indeed.

But a time machine would have worked a lot better.
